Objective: Capture this new, innovative inquinal hernia repair, as part of an ongoing clinical study.
Production Log: We arrive in Omaha under ideal circumstances. We are able to arrive the afternoon before the surgery, and become acclimated with the hospital, OR and support facilities. Always the preferred method, as we want to have the very best chance of preparation, with a pre-surgical briefing. The more we know, the better we can become part of the “surgical team.” This surgery marked the initial use of our Sony “lipstick” camera overhead. It is tiny, yet captures terrific HD images, in this short focal length. Very proud to say we got the best of both worlds here: great images, with minimal impact to the surgical field.
